Life's Journey

I'm a 22 year old newly wed. My goal is not to loose weight but to become lean and toned again. I haven't been toned since I was an early teen. I didn't realize how much weight I'd gained since I met my husband, I noticed just how chubby my stomach had gotten. I don't want to feel like that anymore. While my husband loves me no matter how I look I'd like to be as fit as him, he doesn't even have to try though since he works outside all day and then fishes all day on the weekends.

That moment when you finish a book, look around, and realize that everyone is just carrying on with their lives as though you didn’t just experience emotional trauma at the hands of a paperback.

HAHAHAHAHA i can’t even begin to explain how accurate this is.

OH GOD, THIS A THOUSAND TIMES

So me. I finished the time travelers wife on a coffee break. It was soooo hard to pull myself back together and get back to work.

Sgt. Merlin German The ‘Miracle’ Marine

November 15th 1985- April 11th 2008

Merlin German waged that battle in the quiet of a Texas hospital, far from the dusty road in Iraq where a bomb exploded on Feb. 21, 2005 near German’s Humvee, hurling him out of the turret and engulfing him in flames. Leaving him with burns over 97 percent of his body.

No one expected him to survive.

But for more than three years, he would not surrender. He endured more than 100 surgeries and procedures. He learned to live with pain, to stare at a stranger’s face in the mirror. He learned to smile again, to joke, to make others laugh.

He became known as the “Miracle Man.”

But just when it seemed he would defy impossible odds, Sgt. Merlin German lost his last battle during a routine surgery on April 11th 2008.

“I can’t remember a time where he said, ‘I can’t do it. I’m not going to try.”

German was just 22.

It truly pisses me off that a picture of some girls fucking shoes gets more notes then this.

Rest Easy brother.

pearly gates await, youve served your time in hell
